Week 2 of being back on track!

I am so lucky to have a husband that is on this journey with me! He has been my workout partner and we are pretty good at encouraging one another. His weekday schedule may change drastically in the next week and our morning workouts may have to move to the evenings for the next 6 months. That is going to be a big challenge for me. I am definitely a morning person and start going downhill after 4:00 PM. I see some Spark in my future...



I saw a four pound drop last week, but none this week. That is a typical pattern for me: a drop one week and none the next. The hard thing is to stay motivated on the week where the scale does not drop. Even though I know that is typical for me, it is still discouraging to not see the scale reflect the hard work put in all week.



Are you a fan of Jillian Michaels? It seems most people either love or hate her. I read her book Master Your Metabolism and was very impressed. We subscribe to her website for our weekly circuit training workouts. She is going to have a new TV show where she moves in with a family for a week to get them going in the right direction with diet, exercise, finances, etc. Should be interesting!
